The Carrs family, born and bred in Bolton, opened their first shop back in 1938. The iconic Bolton bakery has grown significantly over the years and, the Carrs family have been creating their tasty home-baked pasties for three generations.

The Brief

Following this success, Carrs Pasties wanted to create a modern bakery experience with their latest shop fitting. After the initial meeting, it was clear that they wanted to bring a contemporary and vibrant vibe to their bakery.

The challenge was to install digital menu boards so that Carrs can quickly change their offers, prices and images using a simple content management system, meaning that they could save money by not needing to regularly change their signage.

The Delivery

Our technology experts at DSS supplied and installed several 40” Samsung screens in key areas of the bakery, along with 9 digital signage players powered by the intuitive and user-friendly MySign. This allowed Carrs Pasties to streamline their marketing strategy by being able to update their in-store promotions at the click of a button from their corporate head office.
